Sobol - Yonkers

Acai bowls are pretty trendy these days but I had no idea what they were until now. I walked into a spotless, amazingly clean SoBol. The woman behind the counter gave me an Acai Bowl lesson and I decided on a kid's bowl just in case I wouldn't like it...I LOVED it. Acai berries are native to the Amazon Rainforest. They have a unique nutritional profile for a fruit, as they're somewhat high in fat and low in sugar. Acai is nutrient-dense loaded with antioxidants. Mybowl consisted of blended acai and soy milk... sliced strawberries, bananas, homemade granola and blueberries...a sprinkle of coconut and honey. It was so delicious. Next time I might even try a pitaya bowl!

Love the place , healthy food and a little bit pricy but it?s definitely worth it because of the nice staff . They are outstanding especially the workers Michelle and Andrew . Such lovely staff members made me feel very welcomed and I have struggled with social anxiety so it felt very nice to have been accommodated by them . Live life joy ????????????????????

You don't feel encouraged to eat in there.The place is very cold. The AC is blasting, and the chairs are not comfortable to sit and eat. However, the Acai bowl I had is very fresh and delicious. The menu on the wall is very easy to navigate, and the photos of the products are very helpful to order on the first-time visits.The place is good for takeout. They have door dash uber eat and grubhub.Prices are not too high, and the products are good. All fruit wasn't frozen, and for the summer, it is healthier and refershing to eat acai bowl than ice cream.Vegetarian options: Yes dairy free smoothiesKid-friendliness: YesParking: In front the place there is a parking lot spacious and you can easily find parking

I have been coming to Sobol Yonkers for years preferring it to the New Rochelle location because it usually is very generous in its portions ensuring that the bowls are 100% filled. I ordered on the Sobol app today and was severely underwhelmed. It was not even close to being full. For over $10 a bowl, I typically get and would expect more. Disappointing that I did not get the same quality as I do when I order or pick up in store. The bowls are still delicious but just not what I have come to expect.
