Evo - YEERONGPILLY

We had been searching for a casual family/dog friendly cafe for lunch, when we found Evo which turned out to be perfect for us. It is situated in a side street with a covered outdoor eating area, and although it was a very hot day, the plants and greenery around the perimeter ensured a cool, comfortable and relaxing ambience. The service was efficient, fast and very friendly while the food was amazing. I had the avocado, mushroom and bacon bruschetta which was very tasty and different. My friends were also very impressed with their food choices. The sweets we chose were delicious and the coffee (very important), was excellent. All in all, it was a thoroughly enjoyable casual dining experience. We will be back.

Had a birthday brunch here with family- great food and reasonably priced. Kids had egg and bacon burger for $10- and eggs on toast, also $10. Servings were large. I had eggs benedict for $16 and the vegetarian option was also $16. Quite a few vegetarian options on offer. Cakes/ slices were expensive. Coffee was $4.80 for a small- but can get a discount if you BYO cup! They also sell keep cups for reasonable prices too. Nice outdoor area and tables inside too. Only criticism.... only to staff working and the place was so busy- was about a 30-40 minute wait...really need more staff!

Good coffee and great service. Does get a little busy at times but that is to be expected if you are providing good coffee.

Evo has the best almond flat white in Brisbane, hands down. They do a fab breakfast, and have just started lunches as well, although I've yet to try the lunch menu.

Havent seen it open the past few times ive been through the gabba. We did manage to have brunch there once. Service was mediocre at best, actually took away from everything else. There were barely 3 or 4 tables occupied, but our food still took a good half hour to arrive. And even then they forgot one item. The owner spent more time trying to establish whether the mistake was ours or waiters instead of actually resolving. Staff were friendly enough, but I hope they've improved the service as that's what kept me from returning again.
