Elio's Osteria - CARINA HEIGHTS

Booked for a Saturday evening 7pm table for 4. Seated immediately by friendly staff in outside area. Was a bit cramped for our liking and due to the shear amount of people it was rather noisy. Service was very good with friendly staff who were always willing to have a laugh with you. Food arrived in a very reasonable time (unsure of exact time to serve as we have good company so lost track of timing). Entrees were Arancini balls and the Cheesey Garlic Bread. All very hot and delicious. Mains all arrived at the same time (within a couple of mis of each other) which was great and a reasonable selection of drinks to choose from. Be warned, if you are not super hungry or are not a big eater order the entree size mains if you had a starter. Everyone was very happy with the way the meals presented, temperature and tasted. Can recommend the BBQ Ribs, and pizzas. We were all too full for dessert although the Italian Donuts looked pretty darn tempting. Cost was a reasonable $230, that was two alcoholic drinks each, three starters and four mains. Even the owner came out to great people and had a laugh with us. Will definitely be going back.

Fabulous service, staff are warm friendly and attentive! Pizza was good but pasta was average ! So much sauce and so little pasta . Was not enjoyable at all .

First visit was amazing, lovely table for two outside, food was delicious, heaters to keep you warm. Lovely atmosphere, with awesome staff. We will definitely come back.

The food at this restaurant was excellent. The pastas were fresh and full of flavor, and the ribs were exceptional. We also tried a gluten-free pizza which was one of the best my daughter has ever had. The young waiter provided great service as well.
