Godfathers Pizza Cafe - Yarraville

This is my go-to spot for a Chicken Mushroom parma with veggies and wedges. The dish is absolutely delicious! The mushroom sauce is incredibly flavorful, the veggies are coated in a magical sauce, and the wedges are perfectly crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. I enjoy every bite from start to finish. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. In addition to the Chicken Mushroom parma, their pizza, pasta, and steaks are also fantastic. Despite considering other options on the menu, I always come back to the Chicken Mushroom parma.

The food quality at Godfathers is truly exceptional. Their Chicken Parma is made with real chicken breast, not processed meat, and their Bolognese sauce is the best in Melbourne. I highly recommend dining in at Godfathers or ordering delivery through Menulog or UberEats. I have tried a variety of dishes including the Chicken Parma, Spaghetti Bolognese, Hawaiian and cheese pizzas, and Scotch fillet steak with delicious pepper sauce. Their chips are also fantastic, with a serving included with the Parma and Steak dishes. As a frequent customer, I have never been let down by Godfathers.

Amazing parmesan dishes and steaks! I'm not a fan of their pizza, but their steaks are perfect and their parmesan dishes are as well. The fisherman's basket is incredibly filling and delicious. Their steaks are massive and definitely worth the cost, and the sauces that come with them are fantastic. I especially love the mushroom gravy, which is pictured and tastes delicious. The pepper sauce is a bit sweet for my taste but still very enjoyable. Their salads are always fresh and delicious, even for someone like me who doesn't normally like dressings. It's great to find a place that takes pride in their salads, as I can easily save them for the next day without any issues. The parmesan dishes are also beautifully prepared, large with a generous serving of chips. They also offer delicious mashed potatoes and seasoned vegetables that are mouth-watering. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, always going above and beyond to meet my specific requests. I am so grateful to have this restaurant nearby, their service is truly exceptional!

Not fancy but ticks the right boxes. The pizzas are always great. They aren’t your fancy-pantsed pizzas, but they are fantastic value and they taste great. Extremely helpful and forthcoming on being able to work around a garlic allergy. I called ahead to double check, staff took my name and I ordered online to get special online discount. She ensured everything was made with assurance of no garlic. This was on a Sunday night (during lockdown with an interstate Western Bulldogs game in Perth). Thanks to the staff, good food, great service.

I think yarraville had many caffes like this about a decade ago. the natives are known under the name, casual representation and not as hip as the others here. but we loved it! many vegan options, and only to like to chat as they order. good coffee and good food, made with love. I had the granola, with extra fruit - that was so delicious. I notice that this caffe is often full, and the special board has in the regular vegan options.
