Papa Baird's - Yakima

Great diner in Terrace Heights! The food was decent—better than what you typically find at most diners. The service was good, and there’s plenty of parking available. The cinnamon roll priced at $8 felt a bit on the expensive side, but overall, the breakfast experience (which came to $54 before tip) was enjoyable. Kid-friendly atmosphere: there were definitely some kids around!

My friend and I discovered a hair in the biscuit drawer and discreetly informed the waitress/owner. In response, the owner offered to cover the cost of the biscuits. However, when my friend wrote a review, the restaurant claimed they had comped half of my friend’s meal, which is not accurate. I cannot support a business that accuses us of planting hair in the food and misrepresents the compensation they provided.

What a lovely little restaurant! They serve delicious American-style food. I highly recommend trying their breakfast and lunch. I absolutely love this place!

We’re so glad we discovered this local gem! Unlike many other mom-and-pop places that can be hit or miss, Papa’s is consistently fantastic! You’re always welcomed with a warm smile, making you feel right at home. The restaurant is extremely clean and well-maintained. They truly care for their customers and work hard to provide the best experience possible! Some of our favorites include the chicken fried steak, eggs Benedict, and their mouthwatering cinnamon rolls (I can’t help but drool)! The portion sizes are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry! The chef has perfected the steak and eggs, and my husband’s favorite is the top sirloin! When they claim to have the best brunch in town, they really mean it!
