The Panda Restaurant is open every day, including Mondays when other restaurants and snack bars don't open. Our family find the meals a good size and think the food is great value for money. Our favorite dishes are garlic chicken, satay beef and a combination omelette (with extra garlic), which are ordered time and time again. The food is always fresh and great tasting. Tonight, I tried the chicken chow mein which I enjoyed. The serve was generous and the chicken and vegetables crisp, not soggy.
Was told 20 minute wait. Ordered my kids fish and chips to be ready at the same time. Arrived on time told 5 more minutes. Asked after 10, explaining I had fish and chips going soggy in the car. People even came in Ordered and were told 20 minutes and got theirs before mine. Got mine 45 minutes after I ordered it. No compensation for having to throw away my kids dinner and having to get maccas. Not good enough! Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
I would give zero if I could. Fried rice was steamed rice with one tiny prawn, a small few peas with 5 tiny pieces of ham. The long soup was jam packed noodles with a small amount of stock. Nothing else, not a hint of a vegetable. I can’t believe how absolutely awful it was. Be lucky is there was $2 worth of ingredients between the two.
