Tino's Italian - WOOLOOWARE

Ordered on Deliveroo, paid $30 for a large calamari, when it arrived there were 5 pieces and the rest salad, I called the restaurant and they said they had sent the small and they would send a new large one. Took 20 mins, then when it arrived was the exact same size. Food was plain and average and way over priced for small amounts.

Food was simple but really tasty. Restaurant is BYO which is always great and occasionally does Groupon which makes it even better value.My kids are addicted to the Spaghetti Bolognese and the Veal Parmy is a great go to dish.Can be busy so always worth ringing ahead .

I have dined at Tinos with family and friends many times over the last 6 years. I would rate it as my favourite restaurant until last night. Ok I did have 2 Ouffer vouchers for a total of 4 diners.!( Tinos only allow 1 voucher per table of 4.) I had the right number of diners but wrong piece of paper.! They weren't out of pocket in fact they get a couple of extra dollars with 2 vouchers as they cost us more.We were totally humiliated in front of other dinners as we were moved into a dark corner to 2 separate table as we were Not allowed to sit together. We felt like naughty school kids.We ended up taking up 2 tables at which we had to turn our chairs around in order to chat across to our daughter and son in law at the other table. It is a pity that the owner didn't hear the comic remarks about them from the other diners. Needless to say we felt that we were given half hearted service. Our entree and main courses were up to their normal standard but the tiramisu was days old and the cream on top had solidified. Neither I, my family or friends will be returning to Tinos as we don't need to be treated in this childish manner.

This restaurant has been around for about 30 years and run by the same family. Their menu is pretty much the same today as when I first tried it 20 years ago - and I can see why - they are on a winner with every dish on the menu.I find it very difficult to get a good risotto- but theirs is so good I struggle to order anything else (but I do, because it's all good). It's more traditional Italian fare (think veal mains, seafood and pasta dishes - not pizza). The garlic bread is the best around - and I order garlic bread with every meal!

Had my birthday dinner here last year, but have dined here many times. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Feels like you've been transported to Italy.
