Nice patio atmosphereDark 'pub-style' interiorsit outside We ordered the Mezza platter app.
We had a light lunch at Troy Restaurant and were very pleased.
My husband and I were starving when we arrived in Wolfville, and were pleasantly surprised at vegans to get a quick and tasty meal at the Pita House. We shared the falafel wrap. I can't imagine having an entire one to myself--the half was quite big.The owner makes her own hummus. Nice touch! We didn't order drinks but she kindly offered us ice water. Another nice touch.I recommend this place for lunch or a casual dinner.
Stopped in before our hike to Cape Split looking for a heathy lunch (Pita House Juice Bar sounded healthy enough we thought). I'd like to say something good about our experience, but can't. If the owners were looking for a way to make a pita unhealthy, they sure found a way. My pita consisted mostly of greasy french fries (who puts fries in a pita anyway?), some bland chicken, a bit of lettuce and some white sauce. It didn't taste good and I couldn't finish it (and I eat anything). My wife ordered a chicken fajita pita and it was mostly pita with very few ingredients. It was a pathetic pita. She couldn't finish her's either. After touring the Maritimes for a week, this was by far the worst food we ate. The only evidence my wife could find of juice at the place was Gatorade. The owners need to up their game or I'm afraid they won't be in business for much longer.
