Today during a walk I took a break at Gasterij a gen Kirk . There were still 2 tables on the terrace that were not reserved. After our 1st drink ordered a second. After the 1st sip, the manageress came to us asking if we wanted to stay seated for a long time because there was room for someone who wanted to eat. Peter, as the person turned out to be called, was then loudly told that he could join us in a moment because we would leave in no time. So we quickly drank and went to the cash register to pay. I didn 't have the bank card in my purse before I heard the manageress shout: Peter, the table is free . Then we sat down again because our glasses were not empty yet. Peter and the manageress behind him also came out and were visibly upset that we hadn 't left yet. Turning around, they went back inside. We then finished our glasses and left. One thing is clear after this incident and that is: THEY WILL NEVER SEE US AGAIN and we will advise everyone not to go to Gasterij a gen Kirk. My advice is: If you don 't have the hospitality feeling, you should do another job. After posting our review, the owner responded. We can only conclude from his reaction that he does not understand it. We did not give a verbal response at all on the spot, let alone utter an angry word. On the contrary. We paid nicely and wished a friendly hello and left. What a weak response from the owner. Instead of learning something from it, he comes up with such a childish and mey untruth-filled response.
