Lake Shipp Diner - Winter Haven

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! The chefs are outstanding and the service is quick. The quality of the food is excellent—it's clear that they put in a lot of effort! I will definitely return. The place was clean, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It couldn't have been better! The prices are quite reasonable too. I’ve already decided I’ll be back!

Diner is a great place for breakfast or lunch. There is a wide selection of breakfast and lunch options, as well as several daily specialties. The soups are homemade and tasty, their country inspired breakfast are really Southern style and cooked to perfection. The decor is very nostalgic metal autobahns from the 40s through the 70s and some classic comic book art. The staff is very friendly, service is fast, and the food is plentiful and perfectly cooked. One of the better places to eat in the area. Too bad they're moving to Davenport in June. Oh, good. Visit them in Winter Haven while you can!

It’s a pleasant surprise to discover excellent food and exceptional staff in this somewhat undesirable neighborhood. Recently opened and newly renovated, Lake Shipp Dinner provides delicious and generous portions, along with a friendly team, all at reasonable prices.

Nell's has been a staple for quite some time, but it's now under new ownership. Andy, the former chef from A&G restaurant, is now running the kitchen here. I’ve enjoyed many meals prepared by Andy, and he does an excellent job. The wait staff is attentive and friendly, and the prices for the food are reasonable. With a large menu and plenty of options, there’s something for everyone. Support a local business by getting to know Andy—you’ll definitely leave satisfied!
