Taste of Sri Lanka - Winnipeg

Proprietor was very gracious and aimed to please. Curry chicken and savory rice was delicious, as was the butter chicken that a friend had.

That's right! I crave your food!! Taste of Sri Lanka, you have never let me down! I've been eating here for years and have always had amazing food! THANK YOU! As a matter of fact, I look forward to eating here every time I am in The Forks! Just seeing your place makes me happy that you are still here and still making and sharing incredible food! I can not find the Eggplant Curry anywhere in Winnipeg except at The Forks at the Taste of Sri Lanka. I alway get that and the Butter Chicken. The Chicken Diablo is also very tasty. If you want to test your palate you have to try their food it if full of flavor that you will love.

The owner is super nice every time, suggesting new things to try. I usually go with some sort of butter chicken type dish. Always delicious.

I have had lunch at this location and the one in Winnipeg Square. The food is hot and ready. Reasonably priced. Eggplant curry is very good.
