Sorrento's - Winnipeg

I have not been to this Sorrento's, but I have been to the Sorrento's at 529 Ellice Avenue (204)774-9892 and definitely feel that is the best one in the city. It is located near the U of W and most of the sports participants eat their. It is family owned and they treat their customers the same way. The food is excellent. The pizza is one of the best and their Sorrento's Salad is to die for, which is salad made with lettuce, cheese, ham and salami, in a vinaigrette dressing, oh so good. The bread sticks are nice and garlicky. There is also great pasta an Italian sausage in a sauce which is also great - what more can I say!

My friend and I had dinner at the Grant location. The Sorrento salad was excellent, but I was very disappointed in my meat lovers pizza as the pepparoni was burnt and there was hardly any cheese. My friend had ordered the salmon and she said it was very good. The breadsticks were very dry as well.

All the food here is great...but the Sorrento's Salad deserves a special mention! I could eat this salad everyday! The staff is friendly and fast, and prices are great. Highly recommend this place!

Excellent sorrentos salad, huge portions. Bread sticks are delicious. Great place to go for lunch with a friend or family. You can call in and pre- order and then pick up. Comfortable restaurant and you do not have to dress up, you can just be comfortable.
