Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Winnipeg

This store had just opened at 11am and I phoned in a very big order. They asked me about how far I was and I told them that I was in the neighborhood. The manager there was the one who took my order. Vikar, I think, was his name? He was extremely nice and accommodating. They were able to handle my order and have it ready for me very quickly and the food was cooked real good, no complaints here. All good

It is known for spicy and I ordered not spicy, the result was very bland. Had the chicken tenders and the butterfly shrimp, unimpressive to me. The onion rings were ok but I've had better. The dessert ps were ok, but not above mediocre. It would seem I have been spoiled by A&W I guess. Barq's rootbeer is not as good in my opinion. All in all it was not a disappointment, I ate all I bought, but I don't going there will be a repeat visit.Kid-friendliness: Simple easy ... like a McDonald's. One of the busiest Popeyes locations. The staff is always friendly and professional. Food quality isn't as consistent. Sometimes, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, sometimes not. People coming to this area often seem to be in a rush, so expect that mood to transfer to this dining atmosphere.

The service was amazing. The guy who took our order was very patient with us and helped us choose their newest addition of the menu. I think it was called the spicy chicken wrap and it was delicious. Thank you Minhaz for suggesting that.

Overall a satisfied customer but by no means thrilled. Popeyes has been a regular take out for the last as many years. However of late, on three occasions, after ordering through the drive through, had to wait fo the order for 15 to 20 mins. They need to seriously fix this. Secondly the chicken off late is a little extra fried which kills the taste and lastly, 2 small packets of hot sauce and ketchup for a 12 piece family meal!!! Seriously guys come on
