Pho No 1 Restaurant - Winnipeg

I went here today and realized I've been eating here for over 14 years. My favourite Pho place in Winnipeg. The soups/pho, vietnamese subs, and vermicelli bowls are fantastic. Love the fresh flavours. Doesn't look like much from the outside but definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed this place. Got there early because we had heard it fills up at regular meal times, both lunch and dinner. It's a small place, but that makes it better than the 'warehouse' style of other Asian places. The Salad Rolls with Peanut sauce was a good starter. The soup was a meal in itself. I had the (77d) which was a bed of rice with teriyaki vegetables and chicken cubes. The sauce was excellent! It's a huge menu so it's remarkable on what the cooks put out over a meal time. The four of us ate for $60. Good deal! Definitely a return visit in the future.

Stopped in for soup after a golf game. They made a wonderful curry beef soup. First time going there but I will be coming back to sample more dishes.

This place is awesome. Love the chicken curry soup. Sweat and spicy in just the right way. This place is one of the best Vietnamese places in the city, a must try.
