Winnipeg Beach Pizza Place

The pizza and appetizers here are truly the best! I love driving from Winnipeg every weekend to enjoy dinner by the lake. The owner, Jim, is an amazing person too!

This restaurant is an excellent place to dine and conveniently located near my home. I ordered the Clubhouse Pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! The service was outstanding as well!

Each year, I make a special trip to Pizza Place while participating in the Gimli 10 Miler, and it never disappoints. It truly ranks among the best pizzas around. The ingredients are top-notch, and the portions are generous. The original pizza oven is far superior to the conveyor belt toaster ovens you typically find at takeout spots in Winnipeg. The staff is fantastic, and the humorous owner always creates a welcoming atmosphere. Keep up the great tradition, Jim!

Unexpected. Yes, the pizza is great here, but everyone in the area already knows that so I won't waste your time. <br/ <br/ But what I was not expecting was just how spectacular some of the not-so-obvious menu items would be. The Greek salad, for example, ruined me. No longer will any order I make go without it. Everything was so fresh and crisp, the dressing was excellent and they were very, very generous with the feta. <br/ <br/ Now on to what is probably the best thing on the menu besides the pizza: the wings! OMG. So tender and done just right. So many flavours to choose from. Amazing.<br/ <br/ The ONLY thing I could suggest regarding the wings is in regards to the sweet chili flavour. A touch of lime would really kick things up a notch. During my last order of take-out I had to slice up some fresh lime and squeeze it on. <br/ <br/ Great place for take-out. Recommended.

UP Nice and sloppy. Real ingredients. Great staff to shoo the breeze with.<br/ <br/ DOWN Nothing negative to mention. Place could maybe use a remodelling?<br/ <br/ OUT Great pizza. IF I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely grab a couple pies.
