Graeter's Ice Cream - Winnetka

Came last night at 9:40, the workers refused to make me a milkshake because it was “too late” and they wanted to close early. That's absurd, I've never experienced such a bad customer service.

We love Graeters! But this place had very rude management. An employee rolled his eyes when I asked for a sample for my children, and then continued to tell another employee that “we should calculate for them”. We heard several other rude interactions in the time we eat.

Unbelievable. Very friendly and accommodating. I was unannounced and needed gifts. I had no idea what I was looking for and they set me up perfectly. Thank you.

I have been an ice junkie for 74 years, in the USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and most islands in the Caribbean, and Graeter's is #1 in my seasonal opinion! Bittersweet sundae with vanilla bean ice is my favorite. m

Back in 1990, some kid stole a toothbrush here and ran out to the ice rink across the street while trying to avoid police! Though what he did was bad, I just hope he made it back home to his family and had a safe Christmas
