Aboyer - Winnetka

Once again enjoyed the excellent kitchen at aboyer. with good friends we enjoyed the gougeres (cheese sheds) and agnolotti (escargot) with the brotservice. wow. for Entree’s we had the loup de mer, the lamb chopper, the berkshire pork and the cassoulet (cover, lamb, bohnen.) the cassoulet was a bit dry but very tasty and others were excellent. both couples shared the delicious dark chocolate gateau to dessert. a noth shore edelstein. Try it! we're safe back.

Michael always has a preference for oversalt; my duck jam (day special) wasn't taken. because I often brought out town visitors both aboyer and silencieux (and earlier restaurant michael), I was disappointed - especially as one of my three guests hangar steak was not done at their very level.

Attentive service, creative high-quality eating in a comfortable and environmentally sound. a wonderful combination!

This restaurant continues to come with specialties that are over the top and tasty. I am so looking forward to Ichael's emails with announcements, what comes. the best!

We went here for Valentine's Day dinner. The food was amazing, and so was the service.
