Little Golden Skillet - Windsor

I really enjoy the chicken at this restaurant, especially the fried wings and the delicious country ham biscuits. The flavor is fantastic and the portions are generous. I highly recommend trying them out.

I was so disappointed with the menu choices. I didn't know at the time they didn't offer a variety like bigger chains.

My family has been eating fried chicken from here for years...back when it was Little Mint. It is true that the chicken is greasy, but otherwise their chicken tastes quite good. Do not go for atmosphere or a nice place for the family to dine out. The place is in serious need for physical upgrades. But if all you care about is the food, then it's fine.

Every time I visit from NY this is always my first stop for some good chicken and chopped bbq. Their food is always fresh.

If you're stomach can handle grease and lots of it, you'll enjoy their signature fried chicken. If you're really feeling adventurous, try one of their turnovers (also grease laidened). Great tasting food; bad for your system.
