Sunny Side Oyster - WILLIAMSTON

Sunny Side is the best when it comes to oysters! We always celebrate my birthday there! The oysters are incredibly fresh, and they shuck them right at your table! Every time we've visited, we've had a fantastic experience! If you're going with a group, I suggest ordering a variety of dishes to share. And if you're a fan of spice, definitely ask for a Rooster—your stomach will thank you, and it will clear out your sinuses! Be prepared to wait at the bar, as the layout is a bit unique. I recommend arriving early! Just a heads up: if the month doesn’t have an “R” in it, they won’t be open.

The restaurant closed for the season on May 12, but this information is not updated on their website. I made a 60-mile drive only to find it closed, which was quite disappointing.

Gave 1 because O wasn't possible. Horrendous Customer Service. Sat an hour, and one of the 3 groups ahead of us got seated. NO ONE EVER UPDATED US ON THE TIME FRAME! Cannot speak to the quality of the food, because we weren't willing to wait three hours to eat. NO ONE'S FOOD IS THAT GOOD. Only side is broccoli and Cheese. WHO LIKES THAT??? If you want to enjoy a meal with your family, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! From what I saw, this is a place for drunks to sit around and drink and eat.

The service is great. Oysters, shrimp and scallops were steamed to perfection. Good time had by all.
