Jimmy O’connor’s Windham Mtn. Inn

I stayed at this inn from 1/13/24 to 1/15/24 and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. Despite its initial appearance as a typical budget-friendly motel/pub, the inn exceeded my expectations in every way. My room, Room 6, had a double bed and an additional cot, providing plenty of space for the three of us. The photos on the official website accurately represented the room, which was equipped with a good-sized flatscreen TV, a small fridge, and a microwave. The room had multiple plugs, making it easy to charge all of our devices. The hot water came out quickly, and we found the WiFi to be fast and reliable for all six of our devices. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, from check-in to dining. The steak and burger we ordered were excellent, living up to the positive reviews we had read. The inn also offered room service while we were out skiing. Overall, our experience was great, and we plan on returning later in the season to this cozy establishment that exceeded our expectations.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The rooms were clean and the family that owns the place was incredibly friendly and accommodating to me and my family. The food was delicious. I will definitely be returning! I would rate the rooms, service, and location all a perfect 5 out of 5.

I was very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. The burger comes with no toppings and any small extras cost extra. The fee for a small side of fries is $6, which is quite pricey for the portion size. The 4-piece fried chicken meal costs $19 and also comes with no sides. The chicken was too crispy for my liking. Additionally, everything is served on cheap paper plates that you can practically see through. I will not be returning. The service was rated a 2 out of 5.

This wonderful family-owned establishment offers a warm and inviting ambiance, complete with friendly proprietors. It boasts a kids' playground and an onsite bar/restaurant. I relished watching the sunset while sipping beer beside the fire pit. The place exudes a local charm and a laid-back atmosphere, complemented by delightful individuals who brighten your day. Recommended for families with kids and couples as well as single people who looking for a quiet weekend vacation after a busy NYC. The rooms are quiet and clean, a bit old but well-maintained. Huge outdoor space to play with kids, playground for little ones. Great food and drinks on the bar, made of high-quality ingredients. Lots of places to eat and drink around, breakfast place right after the corner. Trails, bike trails, skiing, tubing, golf, farmer markets. Amazing views and fresh air. I've already made reservations to return during the fall foliage season.
