Two colleagues who are both Croatian but not related took me to lunch at this restaurant in Williamstown. The service was very helpful and friendly, the waiter explained or recommended dishes for this novice Croatian Restaurant reviewer and the final selection of food was delicious.I am not sure what all the dishes taste like of course but I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered.I will have to go back again with my family.
Service was friendly and excellent ... coffee was good ... relish that came with bread was delicious ... fish stew was out of this world with fresh seafood and rich broth with the right amount of spiciness
We have been to Ragusa on many occasions, held functions there and loved it but something has drastically changed for the worst. We took some friends for dinner last Saturday night and were told that we would have to wait over an hour for our meals as they had a function so we tried to pick entres and mains that wouldn't take so long to prepare but several of the items such as the mussels had run out. When we did get our meals they were very small portions and very overpriced for what they were. It isn't that the food was bad it just wasn't deserving of the price, nothing special. Our waitress was lovely and clearly felt for our situation and good thing was that the refunded our drinks for our wait. A one off night can be forgiven but the food portion size and price smack of arrogance and getting ahead of yourself. If you want good Croatian food at a reasonable price in a nice setting go to Dalmatino instead.
Went here for lunch on my last day in Melbourne. Great location just in the centre of the atmospheric Williamstown. The restaurant decor is somewhat bland though and it could definitely have more Croatian look.An Italian waiter who served me was very very friendly. I ordered some stuffed calamari with cooked chard. It was tasty but for a big portion I ordered quite small actually. This and a Radler lemon beer cost me well over 60aud what is very pricey even in Melbourne.
