Pitchers Taphouse Doubletree

During check-in, Ashley was amazing and incredibly friendly. She made us feel very welcome, which was a delightful surprise compared to my recent hotel stays.

This establishment is quite old and unfortunately not well-maintained. I requested a microwave, but it was left with crumbs inside. The bathroom was also unclean, with hair present. Additionally, there was a towel left behind in the closet. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.

I made a quick reservation on a whim and now I regret not checking the Yelp reviews beforehand. The DoubleTree was likely impressive 20 years ago, but it's starting to show its age...

The menu was quite underwhelming. However, it's a suitable spot for families with young children. They allow kids to sit at the bar with their parents, and there's a playroom conveniently located nearby.

If a sports bar is defined by having televisions, then sure, it qualifies. However, I wouldn’t personally choose to go there specifically to watch a game. If there were a Shamrock in the decor, it would likely just be labeled as an Irish pub.
