Everything was spot on from food to service. Very nice restaurant.

Great bar scene with better food than you can wish for!

We had a fantastic birthday celebration! It was a new experience for my teenagers, and they were really impressed with the food. Brian was amazing and super helpful throughout the evening.

My wife and I had a date night last night at Opus 9 and we were pretty disappointed with the quality of our food. The ambiance and service was fine, but they should never outshine the star of the show, which is the food. First, our salads (wedge and Caesar) were both browned and we’re not fresh at all. These are the salads I would expect at Applebees, but not at a fine dining steakhouse. My wife had the shrimp opus which claims to have 7 jumbo shrimp. They were far from jumbo, just regular shrimp with a very bland presentation. My steak frites was fine, and the steak was actually better than I expected, to be fair. We didn’t want to complain and mess up our romantic vibe, but we both left feeling a little blah about the whole experience. The $200 price tag (with tip) should have afforded us a better experience. As new residents of Williamsburg (our 2nd time visiting this restaurant), we’d love to look forward to a nice experience so please raise your standards a bit. Thanks.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and the service was commendable. However, I ordered a medium steak, and it arrived medium rare. Unfortunately, the steak was quite tough, making it difficult to cut. For a $75 steak, I expected much better quality. Additionally, I found a dead fly in my water, which was disappointing for a high-end restaurant. Overall, I expected a higher standard of food.
