Patte's Sports - Wilkes-Barre

Fantastic! I can't imagine a better place to be on St. Patrick's Day. The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and I'm surrounded by wonderful friends in the most amazing atmosphere.

The food is just as fantastic as I remembered from years past, particularly the French onion soup.

I have been visiting Patte's for more than 45 years, which speaks volumes. On my most recent visit, I joined about 14 former classmates. Our selections varied from burgers and mac and cheese to specials such as baked catfish and liver and onions. Everyone truly enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.

Pretty typical NEPa bar/restaurant in terms of atmosphere. But, I thought, better than average food. Service (we were sitting at the tables) was good, menu selection was decent and prices very reasonable. With a beer dinner, we were 25$/plate. Not too bad. Parking was off street.
