Umami Gorilla - Wilkes-Barre

Absolutely the best and most delicious vegan comfort food in the city, and in a fairly large radius on the map. they have eaten and take out all the time specialities. very nice and polite service. a whole day.

I'm not vegan but this food is delicious. I will recommend to all my other meat eater friends. I didn't know vegan food could be so tasty! I don't know what they put in the potato salad but it is delicious.

Best vegan food I’ve had, full stop. Kyle (owner) is a flavor wizard and always dreaming up insane combinations. Get the fried chicken, the Buffalo cheesesteak or any of the desserts!

I am currently writing this review while eating and let me tell you how AMAZING THIS FOOD IS!!!!!!! The chef is beyond TALENTED how he makes everything from scratch and it tastes like HEAVEN!!!!! I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!!!! I can’t even fully describe how FLAVORFUL EVERYTHING IS! Omggggg definitely worth it!!!!Update: THE PINEAPPLE CHEESECAKE IS THE ABSOLUTELY BOMB!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely fantastic! We came to the poconos for skiing and decided to swing by Umami Gorilla for dinner. The cafe is super cute and cozy with surprisingly a lot of seating. The chef made the food fresh and quickly. We ordered the KFC bowl with bacon mac and cheese and the buffalo cheese steak with chili. Everything was delicious and the KFC bowl was our favorite. For dessert we got the belgian truffles, which we are obsessed with. Vegan chocolate done right. Would definitely recommend!
