We have arrived on a Sunday afternoon after a beautiful walk. the escaped and also the reception were absolutely satisfying. it was offered us a table that didn't like us so well and we asked for a window. this is not a problem but limited in time. no thema so long we had no intention of staying. it should be just a small thing. the menu and wine card sounded so promising and promising. my guide chose the 3-course menu suppe - schweinefilet - dessert and I a veggi spice as appetizer and the tuna as main dish. as accompanying wein a barbera d’asti (very good)! we are going to eat very regularly, but the feeds we served were an absolute catastrophe. the only highlight was the suppe and the really very competent dedicated friendly service power. Despite more detailed comments on the quality of our food, the chef or the host has unfortunately not made it to our table. pure disappointment in the trauma.

My mama had birthday and at this occasion we were not for the first time in pfaffenberg. the local is very nice, something thrived, initially also a little cool when you are early. but a very good service and a nice atmosphere let you feel comfortable.We had a sherry first, ordered us a bottle of grayburgunder and various snacks: wild boar and tomato sauce. both recommend and there is also something in the bowl :-) very good. Afterwards, there was a classic goose lobe with marons and knocks: very sufficient and tasty, I didn't need a dessert anymore. the gnocchi of my wife were just as recommended as my mother's carving.The two of them had ordered a dessert; once an ice sorbet and once a homemade sour cherry, which was the only one not praised to 100%. only recommended.
