Eating was at best mediocre. No one actually has stomach pain, but no one felt good after eating. I'll never eat there again. we were a party of 6.
The location is fantastic, the service is exceptional, and the sushi is amazing!! I tried the downtown location for lunch for the first time and it was fantastic. I can't wait to make this a regular spot for my lunches!
Wichita has better to offer.. I've been going to Wasabi for a couple of years. If you're in old town, it's a great place to grab a bite to eat. If you are on the west side of town, or you just want better sushi, you need to go to Ninza. Old Town's Wasabi has the best food, out of the three Wasabi locations in Wichita. I have noticed that the prices have gone up by $1-$2 for their classic/value rolls and I assume the specialty rolls have followed suite.<br/ <br/ Like many others, I have had bad service at Wasabi. Read the others comments because they sum it up.<br/ <br/ If I had a choice though, I would pick Ninza over Wasabi any day. It's cheaper, tastes better, has an awesome staff, and you don't have to deal with Old Town parking.
We absolutely love Wasabi Old Town - it's a fantastic sushi restaurant. Although we've encountered some not-so-great waiters in the past, the food is always delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The only downside was when we tried to dine 45 minutes before closing and were told they couldn't serve us due to closing preparations. Overall, Wasabi Old Town is our top choice for sushi in Wichita!
