Firehouse Subs South Rock - Wichita

I wish I could give this place no stars. The girl at the counter with the buzz cut was incredibly rude. There was a water issue that forced them to turn off the water, but instead of being accommodating, she refused to let us get a drink before shutting off the machine. We ended up having to pay more for a bottled drink. Additionally, the guy at the register tried to push us to buy more. When another customer went to get ice, I stayed quiet, but when my boyfriend went to do the same, she rudely told him he wasn't allowed and had a bad attitude about it. She didn’t say anything to the customer who went just before him. I’m very disappointed with the customer service and won't be coming back.

It's alright, but given the price, I'd prefer Subway over Firehouse. I only stopped by because I wanted to try Firehouse for the first time. I had a free medium sub offer for my birthday after signing up for their rewards program. However, a few days after my birthday, I received an email stating that you now have to make a purchase within six months of your birthday to be eligible for the free sub. While this change isn't a deal breaker, it's disappointing since that offer was the main reason I decided to visit. Overall, I’d recommend going to Subway instead; it’s likely cheaper and tastes better.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. I have a very particular daughter who likes her sandwiches simple, just ranch dressing and not much else. I placed an order exactly as she wanted it, but they misunderstood and added lettuce and tomatoes instead. It wasn't a huge issue, so I tried fixing it myself. However, the next attempt was even worse; they added hot peppers and onions! They had the order ticket with the right ingredients on it, yet they still got it wrong. At this point, I just gave up. I really wanted to like this place, but I personally won't be returning.

I visited this restaurant to redeem a free medium Italian sub as part of the T-Mobile Tuesday promotion. I was pleased that the staff was familiar with the promotion, so I didn't have to explain it. It’s likely helpful that there’s a T-Mobile store in the same parking lot. I also tried a confetti cookie, and I can honestly say I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying both the sub and the cookie were, especially since I had only eaten at Firehouse Subs once or twice before. The interior of this Firehouse Subs location was quite spacious and clean.

Firehouse Subs offers remarkable consistency across all its locations. The sandwiches are made with fresh meats and vegetables, making it my preferred choice for a quick meal every time.
