Fatburger - Wichita

For price to me it seemed normal 2 meals with a drink was 30 bucks.... but the food was good and juicy. It was flavorful not so greasy. I still want to try their shakes and wings but other than that ill be back for sure a few times honestly.

The burger was great! The young girl that took my order was horrible. Had to have a talk with management.

Upon arrival, it seemed like they were experiencing a staffing shortage, as only one register was open, leading to a lengthy line. This might have been a strategic decision to prevent the kitchen from getting overwhelmed. Still, it took 45 minutes from the moment we walked in to receiving our food—not the worst wait I’ve seen, but certainly not good either. In terms of pricing, our bill came to $45 for two burger meals (which included fries and a drink) and a chocolate shake. That price already included a 15% tip, so it felt quite excessive for what we received. The biggest letdown was the food itself. By the time the fries reached us, they were cold, and I've had better consistency at nearly every fast-food restaurant. The burgers were poorly assembled and quite messy, both falling apart at the sides. On top of that, they were underseasoned; they really could have done more to enhance the flavor of the patties and added some sauce. Overall, a disappointing experience.

For those planning to visit, I recommend checking the menu online beforehand to know what you want, as this will help speed up the line. Be prepared for a wait after placing your order, as the food is cooked to order. I've included some photos from my visit. I'm looking forward to the XXXL Burger challenge contests when they start! I highly recommend this place, and I plan to try an Oreo shake on my next visit.

The cheeseburger and fries I had were quite tasty. I opted for the king burger accompanied by thick fries, and I must say, the Maui banana milkshake was fantastic! However, the onion rings could have benefited from a bit more breading; I've definitely had better at other places in town. On the bright side, the buffalo wings with BBQ sauce were excellent. The order came with a small portion of carrots, celery, and blue cheese, which was a nice touch. The line to place an order was lengthy, but I anticipated that since the restaurant had just opened. Just a heads up—there's no drive-thru here, so don’t expect it to be fast food; everything is made fresh. We ended up spending $60.00 for two people, but we ordered enough for two meals each because we wanted to sample nearly everything on the menu, except for the chicken sandwich, chili cheese fries, and chili cheese dogs.
