Delano Diner - Wichita

We had heard about DD in recent months, so we decided to stop in for Sunday breakfast. I can't praise it enough. The waffles were the best I've ever tasted, and they didn't even need syrup (although dipping them was delicious). My husband enjoyed the Pig and Pepper omelette, and the coffee had a great flavor without being bitter. We will definitely be returning to try their lunch or dinner soon!

I wish I had a picture of my breakfast. It consisted of eggs over medium, country fries, and bacon - a simple yet delicious meal. The restaurant takes even the simplest dishes seriously, cooking everything to perfection. The pork loin sandwich I ordered was huge and would easily feed a family. My dining partner loved his meal, describing it as delicious, while his wife raved about the breakfast burrito, saying it was the best she had ever tasted.

Service was quick. The food came out very quickly and was really good. The breading on the chicken fried steak was crunchy and held up under the gravy. This was a first and I believe I would come back to try some more foods.
