Tiger Rice Japanese Kitchen

Not very good the chicken was super dry with the fried rice even though I added fried egg was not a lot of flavor.

Edit: Decided to give Tiger Rice another try given the plethora of great reviews. I do think my first experience was a fluke as all of the issues that I had with the food during my first visit were not present on my second. Everything was hot and delicious. Original: Based on the other reviews, I was really looking forward to trying this. I was quite surprised to be as disappointed as I was with the food. I got the Yaki Udon chicken, beef, and shrimp combo. It probably would’ve tasted alright if it wasn’t drowning in grease and sauce. I expected to open it up and see udon noodles, but all I saw was the vegetables and sauce. I had to dig through the vegetable soy sauce soup to find any noodles. Also got the garlic fried rice with chicken. It was alright. Very salty. I think they forgot the peas and carrots. Maybe I just got unlucky, but I doubt I’ll be back anytime soon.

Food is amazing. The portion sizes really give you your money's worth. The staff is so nice. Sometimes the wait can be long during rush hours but that's expected for rush hours but they do their best. I have never come here and had a bad experience. I highly recommend eating here at least a few times!

A must stop anytime I’m in Wichita! Always get extra to take home too. In addition to awesome food, super friendly owner and staff. I’d give them more stars if I could!
