Helen's Bakery - Whycocomagh

We stopped in Whycocomagh, NS to eat at Farmers Daughter. Just across from the store is the CO-OP which sells Helen's goods. Go with confidence and you won't be disappointed. We particularly loved the molasses as well as the date turnovers cookies. They tasted just as good as home baked sweets.....if not better ;)

My husband and I had the pleasure of trying Helen's Bakery Date Squares and Neopolitan Bars on Sunday, August 2nd, 2015. They were fantastic! They tasted homemade and delicious with none of the horrible pre-made commercial fillers common today. I would love to return to Cape Breton to try more of the baked goods from Helen's Bakery!!! They were being carried by the Whycocomagh Co-op and Liquor Agency store and that's where we purchased them. We haven't had such delicious bakery items since my husband's mother passed away - Nana to our children - and Nana's cooking was the very best!!!

Wonderful staff! Everyone loves what they do and their product is proof. The best baked goods EVER! Both locations are easy to reach and I love the convenience of being able to place orders ahead of time. Thanks Helen's!

The food here is fantastic! It's a great place to be employed. The homemade baking truly shines through in every bite.

Pizza on Thursday's is awesome!! Super friendly. Well priced, hot and fresh!
