Anchor Inn - Whittier

Great little spot... I dont know why everyone hates on it, but considering your options, I figure this place would be higher rated. The staff was awesome.. we rolled in right after the opened and were happy to serve. The food was good, nice big pieces of Halibut in the fish n chips. My BaconCheese burger was awesome as well. Not much to do in town, but make sure to look around. There's alot more to the town than just that gray hunk of slap on the hill.

The food was great and reasonably priced. The halibut was even better than it was this past weekend, and the atmosphere in the sports bar was fantastic.

The cleanliness of the place leaves something to be desired, but the coffee was excellent and they served generous portions! To enter, you have to go up a staircase. The waitress managed both the bar and dining area efficiently and did an outstanding job!

The food was delicious, the place is so far that it reminds me of a place on an island of everything. Had fried heal butt and shrimp that was so fresh and tasty. Grandson has chicken strips and fries and is a picky eater and he enjoyed it.

Best place for seafood for the price we found in our adventures in alaska
