China Sea - Whittier

I would happily drive here every day from Anchorage if I didn’t have to work. A perfect 10/10! The $13 tunnel fee is absolutely worth it!

The restaurant has a fantastic location and the service was excellent. The soup was pleasant, though not particularly remarkable. The shrimp with spicy garlic sauce was outstanding. However, the halibut ala Peking didn't impress me as much; the flavor of the sauce was lacking, and the fried fish ended up being a bit soggy. I think grilled fish would have complemented the overall dish better. Both entrees were served with a side of rice.

I had the sweet and sour halibut, and it was quite delicious. I would definitely order it again and would recommend it to others.

A charming little restaurant located on the pier in Whittier, Alaska. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is simply enjoyable!

This is an outstanding restaurant in Whittier! The service was fantastic, and I believe the owner might have been the one serving us. They were quick and the prices were very reasonable! I was pleasantly surprised to find such delicious Chinese food in remote Alaska. We will definitely return!
