There is a public station that you have to serve yourself and there is only one set at the station. It's so inconvenient that you have to put it back yourself after you are done with the chili oil, vinegar, or soy sauce you are using and the waitress would blame on you if you didn't put it back on time. Why should I tip you if I am doing everything myself (I still left with 20% tips, but will never come back again)....
Avoid this place at all cost, there are many better options nearby. The MaoCai lamb rice noodle is a joke, where the soup taste like dishwasher and no lamb what so ever, just cabbage and lamb stomach. First time visiting the place, not sure how they got this high review, probably most fake review. I would highlight not recommend this place from the bottom of my head. There are many better rice noodle place in Buford, DaGu, Tensecond, much better taste, lower price, than this little horrible place. Worth calling out one of the waitresses try to mitigate the situation by offering me lamb plate on the side, that's why I give two star instead of one. Still the taste is bad, service is bad, food is bad. Avoid at all cost.
First time trying crossing bridge rice noodles! This place is located on the right side of the Sweet Hut plaza on Pleasant Hill. Came for a Saturday lunch and it was decently crowded. The bowls were already assembled (rather than ingredients all separated , but it was still delicious. The clay bowls are put in an insulating stand so it's not hot to the touch and you can easily move it. The soup stays hot during the entire meal. Fatty beef was tender and delicious! It didn't get over cooked despite being pre assembled. Though each soup has a set spicy level on the menu, you can adjust it when you order. Numbed spicy fatty beef rice noodle soup $13 pretty good spice level Szechuan pepper fatty beef rice noodle soup (numbed $13 decent flavor, would prefer something spicier personally (maybe
The broth for the Sour Spicy Rice Noodle Soup is one of the best things I have ever eaten! 10/10 for this place.
I visited here specifically for their new hand pulled thick and wide wheat noodles. They were just as amazing as I was hoping for. All is well in the world. If you 've ever heard of the famous biang biang noodles, these are similar but not as wide. This is now my #2 spot for handmade noodles in the Atlanta area. The menu is basically comprised of a few appetizers all the rest of the menu is different broth and meat prices itemized. Therefore, the menu may appear to be 2 pages, but it is really simple. The appetizers here are really good, but the pan fried buns and dumplings are more greasy than other places in the area. The filling is not as flavorful also. You will notice that their appetizers cost almost 50% less than the same dishes at some other locations. That is because the portion size is smaller. Which is fine with me, as I always order too much food anyways. Their house garlic dipping sauce is excellent and unique. I tried both their original broth and the numbing broth. Flank beef and also fish as protein choices. The soups have so much meat inside! And, both broths I tried were rich and so flavorful, highly addictive! The soups arrive boiling and can be served two different ways, upon your request: 1. all of the toppings as small side dishes (my preference) 2. all of the toppings inside of the bubble soup The soups will always have your meat and noodle choice inside. Their house noodle is a thin noodle, but like I noted, I ordered and prefer the wide and chewy noodles. It was nice to find a hand pulled noodle restaurant that had just numbing flavor. Typically, you have to get numbing and spicy together, which is fine, but it was nice to just focus on the more rare numbing peppercorn flavor this time.
