I'm gonna stick to how well that was cooked and presented. I had a perfect boiled and spiced pigs boiled. I had one of the big tellers of stall fish, the fish was perfectly cooked, the sose for the fish were exactly what was set on the menu, and the chef hit an interesting combination of aromen that made the court glamor. this was a great place to eat while not white tablecloth service that was eating. this is the yukon, it is informal and friendly, but eating is as good as it is in every cosmopolitan city of the world.
My fiancee and I came from Ontario and we went to the Wayfarer Oyster House twice on our trip to the Yukon, and they had by far the best food we have ever had. The prices reflect the quality of food so well. We are already planning to go back here when we return to the Yukon!
A fantastic place. Great food and great service. A wonderful surprise and a great addition to Whitehorse’s culinary scene. Thank you for a memorable meal.
Great staff in am amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Just watching the staff will out a smile on your face. They are very knowledgeable about the trinkets and artifacts around the restaurant. To top it all off, the food is fabulous!! I wish I could have tried everything on the menu it was so good.
Hands-down the most delicious and elegant food in Whitehorse! I’ve never been disappointed at the Wayfarer. The cocktails are delicious, the ambiance is a perfect blend of classy and relaxed kitsch. We always start with oysters. (The Fanny Bay oysters are especially voluptuous. The miso Brussels sprouts are a scrumptious and appetizing first course. Mains are the perfect size to satisfy without bloating your stomach. Every dessert is filled with nuanced flavours and texture. Expect to spend $100-$200 for 2 if you do the entire cocktails to dessert experience I just described. It’s worth every penny for an evening of taste sensations.
