Sakura Japanese sushi bar - Whitehorse

The sushi at this restaurant is tasty, but their customer service is lacking. They tried to charge me extra for adding BBQ pork and BBQ duck to a dish, even though it was included every other time I ordered it. The waitress couldn't explain the reason for the extra charge. Additionally, the service from the girl who served me was rude and she made me feel unwelcome, telling me to stand out even though I was the only customer in the restaurant. I was so upset by the experience that I have decided not to return. Very disappointing.

Sakura is a quick and welcoming restaurant with a wide variety of fresh sushi, udon, and sashimi to choose from. Their party platters are especially recommended for families.

I highly recommend Made to Sushi for their quality, fresh ingredients and the ability to customize your own fillings. The waiting time is worth it and you can choose to dine inside, outside, or take your order to go. You can also pre-order your food for convenience.

Their sushi is good but they have crappy customer service . Firstly they wanted to charge me extra for ordering bbq pork and bbq duck in a platter and I asked her why and yet every time I have ordered it’s included in the platter...price , she couldn’t even explain why . Secondly the girl who served me was so rude told me to go stand outside and yet I was the only one in the store mind you I’m pregnant too and it was cold outside , I asked her why and she says because of the current ristrictions and some rubbish about policy and yet their sign outside says pple max at one time and I even said to her I will go out if anyone else comes in . The owner came and she couldn’t even speak proper English and I asked for my refund . I would rather give my money to pple who have good customer service along with good food . I was so upset I will not be going back there again . So disappointed
