We ordered beef meatballs, beef tripe, beef stomach, lau sha bao, fried Chinese donut wrapped in steam rice roll, and rockling fish head noodle soup, all accompanied by tea. The auto tea refill machine was a convenient touch. The total bill came to around $60 for four people and a baby. I suggest coming for lunchtime yum cha and arriving early to enjoy freshly steamed food.
This restaurant is like a refined version of Secret Kitchen. The menu is similar, but there is an added depth of flavor in the dishes. The Lobster Set is excellent, and even though it is meant for two people, the portion size is generous.
Reasonably price dishes with specials on Peking duck and lobster.
Omg good! Where did this place come from or where are the Chefs from. I used to come here when it was Treasure Hut, it was good then but now, fantastic. Best Fried Rice ever. Pork Ribs so tasty. Limited dessert menu. High turnover of tables but no pressure whatsoever to leave quickly. Good like Ocean King or Simon's, much nicer decor inside. (Was the only Aussie in there, usually a good sign of authenticity where Chinese cuisine is concerned.
The restaurant offers delicious food at a reasonable price. It was a very good deal to preorder a $100 voucher for $9.90 and get three Peking duck dishes. However, there has been a change in ownership and the restaurant's name. The previous deal is no longer valid. The restaurant, now called Fumanlou, offers a very good value banquet deal.
