Legends Smokehouse & Grill - Whitehorse

This place was close to my hotel so we tried it out. Ended up going to breakfast there 15 of 17 day in Whitehorse. Staff was friendly and portions large. Liked it so much I booked a room and hosted a catered event for 30. It was booked up pretty good due to events in town but they found me a good time and delivered. Very easy to work with. Highly recommend

Surprised at the size of this place. There are 3 different options with different names but I think they are all under the same company. Really friendly waiter. Easy choice if staying at hotel.

Very tasty and filling breakfast. I had eggs, bacon (extra crispy the way I ordered), and bannock toast. My daughter had the 1/2 order pancakes. Typical good breakfast and the waitress was very nice. Compared to other places we went to within Whitehorse several days later, specifically Tonimoes (reference my scathing review), I really appreciated the good food, great service and the way they cooked my food to my preference.

Ordered a meal that I have ordered many times. This time it included coleslaw and and lettuce smeared in the take out box. I called asking for a new order and refused to give me a new order. She then went on to explain that it has been on the menu and she has worked there for a year and always includes coleslaw. Not once has my meal ever included coleslaw. The waitress was very rude on the phone and would not even let me speak. Never again am I going back there. Save your money and eat elsewhere.

Dark haired lady with glasses is always very unpleasant. Whenever I go to Legends (few times a month) I always pray that I'm not sitting in her section/that she's no longer employed. Every other waitress is delightful, the food is good and inexpensive. She is abrupt and downright rude. I don't know how she is still employed. Legends, keeping her on is a liability. You guys are a very nice, family - oriented, cosy restaurant. Your food is delicious, there is lots of it, and it's inexpensive for Whitehorse. Your other waitresses are wonderful - friendly and efficient, even when rushed off their feet. This one, in my last visit, didn't bother to greet me, even though there were only 5 tables filled in the restaurant. Snapped at me asking my drink order, stormed off after I gave it. Barked at my mom when she asked what kind of salad she would recommend, refused to give a recommendation. Frankly, I was appalled. My mother was visiting from New Brunswick, and I had highly recommended the food and service at legends. Being treated that way as a paying, regular customer that had recommended Legends to so many has left a very bad taste in my mouth.
