Crown & Anchor Pub - Whitecourt

Went for karaoke after being bedded by friends. this was the first visit since covid, since this restaurant was known in whitecourt for flaunting covid rules. they refused to wear masks and not to enforce the vaccine mandate, but I degress. was on karaoke and. a fight broke out. one of the young bleeded a lot. the men went, but then I had to go to the washroom and the room of the men was covered with blood. this is a great violation of health. it had stayed like that for a few hours. when they leave such a washroom, what are their kitchen standards. this was a nice place to go for a drink and eat, but now stay away.

Great food. friendly owner comes up and chats with his customers. best fries ever . friend and I were not discriminated against . proud of the support .

Wicked food,atmosphere and staff I would definately return to this pub for brauskis and a good time atmosphere

Everything I travel to Grande Prairie I always stop at the Crown Anchor Pub. One minute off the highway and we are there. I always show up in the afternoon and the place is close to empty with a few full tables. The server...is there with the menu in less than a minute. It has never been more than 10 minutes from the time I sat down to when the food comes. And yes it is pub fare but the food is tasty with choices. If you want burgers and fries, they have 'em. But if you want a Beef dip, Reuben sandwich, Hot Beef sandwich, they have that too...and with clam chowder. Prices are good and fair. I have been there off and on over 15 years and it is consistently the same. I have never been unhappy. And I can be fussy!
