La Frontera Pizza - White Plains

This restaurant is fantastic! I was initially hesitant to leave a review because they are so authentic and true to their Mexican culinary roots, and I hope they remain that way, even if they grow in size. Everything you eat here is delicious; my favorites are the queso fundido con carne and the enchiladas. I also adore the guava cake when it’s available. It’s a simple, charming hole-in-the-wall with character and great food—just a table outside and a few stools inside. They offer plenty of takeout, but if you can, I recommend eating there to enjoy the Mexican music and the vibrant atmosphere.

The tacos exceeded my expectations! I typically order three tacos and feel satisfied, but here I ended up having six in total. The salsas were incredibly flavorful, and the guacamole had a perfect kick of seasoning. The fresh beverages were also excellent. Although it’s a small deli-style restaurant, it has everything I need. They have an automatic hand sanitizer station at the entrance, and the space looks and feels very clean. The young lady who took our order was very friendly. I paid using the contactless credit card machine with no extra fees. I can’t wait to go back for more! I highly recommend it!
