Angel Fisheries - Whitby

During our recent trip to Whitby, we visited Angel Fisheries, one of the few fish and chip shops open at the time. We ordered chip butties with a small sausage each, and found the service to be attentive and the food fresh and hot. While I personally didn't find the food to be particularly tasty, as the batter seemed plain, the addition of tartare sauce helped enhance the flavor. The prices were reasonable and the option to dine in or take out was available at the same cost. Overall, we had a good experience with no major complaints.

We arrived in Whitby from Edmonton, Canada, and based on many recommendations, decided to try the amazing fish and chips at this restaurant. The pictures truly speak for themselves - the fish was incredibly white and the chips were delicious. My friend tried his with curry sauce and proclaimed it as the best he's had in the UK. We sat with a charming couple from Milton Keynes and we all agreed that the food was a perfect 10 out of 10. Forget about any other place and come here instead. I recently visited this restaurant to try their well-known fish and chips, and it did not disappoint. My wife and I had a wonderful experience there - the establishment was clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend dining in at this restaurant, but even if you choose to get takeout, you will be pleasantly surprised by the flavors.

This restaurant offers a small portion of delicious cod and chips, perfect for lunch. The food is freshly cooked and sourced from specific boats, along with local potatoes from Whitby. The homemade tartar sauce is a standout feature. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful. There are only 4 tables for indoor dining. And don't forget to try the homemade tartar sauce!

I only wanted a light bite, so I opted for the fish and chips with a coffee. To my surprise, it was not a small portion! The food was freshly cooked to order, the portions were huge, and it tasted delicious without being too greasy like some other places. The coffee machine was temporarily broken, but they were serving Douwe Egberts coffee instead of the usual cheap stuff. You can dine in or take away, and we will definitely be returning.
