Wild Wing - Whitby

We usually go there after we leave the movies. Love their fries but the wings need to be more crispy. Good service, they will take back your food if you want it done more, so this wasn't too big a problem.

As I was in on NYE last night at the Whitby location. I do have to say it is disgusting how I had to enter the store to see how understaffed it was. The poor, hard working, ONLY girl at the front was so stressed and upset. She seems to be an amazing worker. She has to be the hardest working girls I have seen in a restaurant in a very long time. As I have worked in a restaurant, I believe she needs to be praised for this work, if she has not been already. Shame on the management and owner for the understaffed mess that I had to walk into last night. It was disgusting. The food was good, the hard worker was best. But the poor girl was bawling due to the stress of grown men yelling at her, this would not have happened if it was staffed properly.

After the terrible meal we had last night, it just reinforced our rule to avoid big chain restaurants at all cost. The server was lovely one star for her) and the food was very hot one star for that). The food was just dreadful was it even real food? It was our fault that we left our dining out preparation to the last minute. We were looking for a place to eat before a movie amongst the dismal collection of restaurants around the Landmark theatres. What happened to all of the restaurants? You know things are pretty bad when the best of the dining options is Jack Astor 's, which had a 30 minute waiting list even at the bar! Lesson learned. I can 't believe people still eat here.

While there is an abundance of places to buy wings from, Wild Wing is defintely a favorite. Although they do not allow you to take home your leftover wings on half price days, they offer a very delicious flavor list to choose from. The food takes a little longer than preferred, but the waitresses are usually nice and cheerful to talk to.

We ate here years ago when, and honestly, it was soooo bad, we've never visited another one anywhere!!! waited forever for our food. When we finally received our meal, the wings were cold and gross. I asked the manager if he could do something with the bill considering the horrible experience we had. He said, absolutely not . If he would have compensated us somehow, we would have tried it again, thinking it was just an off night. The service was bad, the food was terrible, and it was a recipe for us to never return!
