Pita Deli - Oshawa

Each time we visit Pita Deli, there's a line, and it's easy to see why. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. The portion sizes are generous, making it great value. If you’re a light eater, I recommend asking to have your gyro or shawarma cut in half; this way, you can conveniently save the leftovers for later.

I've been visiting this restaurant for a few years, and the transition from the old mall to a new, modern location has really enhanced the atmosphere. The pitas have also improved in size and quality. They are incredibly delicious, crispy, and paired with the suggested sauces, they make for a fantastic meal. The standout feature, though, is the impressive size of the pitas—they're large enough to serve two people! I highly recommend this place, and I have no plans to move away since I want to keep enjoying their food.

The chicken Caesar pita is our go-to choice for a quick lunch, and it’s so hearty that it can easily serve as a second meal. The pita chips included are absolutely wonderful. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent—even when there's a line, they manage to keep things moving quickly! The staff is incredibly friendly too.

This was my first visit, and I must say it was fantastic! We ordered the falafel plate and their special dish, which features chickpeas and eggplant served with rice. Oh my goodness, my taste buds were in heaven! Everything was delicious, and it was enough to feed three adults! I saw them making a pita for another customer, and those things are enormous! I’ll definitely be back to try their pita. I got so caught up in the moment that I forgot to take a picture before we started eating—whoops!

This is definitely my favorite restaurant in Oshawa. The quality here is exceptional and consistently impressive, and the portion sizes are generous. The shawarma wraps are packed with flavor, healthy, and absolutely a must-try. The cuisine has a Greek influence, featuring plenty of fattoush salad inside. They offer a unique variety of options, including chicken, beef, roast beef, and Montreal smoked meat. The vegetables are always fresh, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I've noticed many of the same faces working here for years, which suggests that the restaurant truly values and appreciates its employees. I visit at least once or twice a week and consider myself a loyal customer. This place has been outstanding for years, and I look forward to many more visits!
