Pickles' Grog Grill - Wheeling

We love this place and make it a regular stop when we are in town. The two girls running the show are there and have fun. Eating is always at point and the place is clean.

Don't watch this place! You'll be so upset that you did this because this place takes bar food to a new level. We stopped today for the first time and we can't wait to come back and try to get EVERYTHING other. Lol my friend and I ordered a few things to share and we loved everything. We started with fried pimples, spit baked and perfectly cooked. The garlic parm wings were super crispy with exactly the right amount of sauce. The Fulton Philly was huge! Loading with quality toppings on an incredibly fresh bread sheet and included a bunch of frits (that we fries in chili cheese because why not) Anyone who works there seems to really care and enjoy their work and customers, it shows in delicious food and great service.

This place is always busy. Small interior, but the room and the crowded areas are easily forgotten when you take your first bite of everything. I was here several times and I had another meal of every outing- every bite of heaven. Quality cooked and great service. Very recommended!!!

Katelyn ran crazy and made a wonderful job. Food was great and good beer selection. Very recommend the fried chicken package with Speck Ranchero with chips and their home made diving.

We stopped in at Pickles while on a road trip to Virginia. The staff was amazing and personable and service was quick. On the bar side it was similar to cheers where they know your drinks when you walk in. We had a burger, cheese balls, fries, and Cajun chicken. All food was good and we took left over fries with cheese for a late night snack. The bartender made a great old fashioned and the bud light bottle was cold. Overall great experience. I would stop by again if I'm ever in the area.
