Kilcoyne Redwood Inn - Wheeling

This place is the perfect Wisconsin-style bar! The ribeye on Thursdays is fantastic, and you absolutely must try the lake perch on the Friday fish fry. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is outstanding. There might be a wait at times, but it's definitely worth it. It's my favorite bar!

This is a fantastic restaurant with a friendly staff! Their special dinners are consistently delicious! I absolutely love this place! As for wheelchair accessibility, there are no steps and the doorways are wide.

Unfortunately, we decided to stop by after work to celebrate Mother’s Day; there are few establishments open after 20:00 in the area. The guys worked, but only as a bar and we were left without the much-praised steaks. We promise to come back and still try them.

Walked in to the person working fawning all over 2 of the 4 people in the bar. Stood there for a couple of minutes not wanting to interrupt. Went over to them and asked if the kitchen was still open. Still completely ignored. I have a solid voice so she either chose to ignore me or was drunk.

Kilcoyne’s is a hidden gem of a bar with a “restaurant” quality food menu. If you know, you know! Great cocktails, food and customer service! No…this Lobster dinner is not on the regular menu (appetizer included, first photo). Joe, the awesome owner has monthly Saturday specials dinner; reservations only. For $55 per person, you cannot beat it! Every piece of seafood was cooked to perfection.Now…best BBLT (yes, double bacon) and homemade coleslaw around town. Awesome appetizers, burgers and other delicious food! If you haven’t been before, you’re welcome!Note: typical prices are lower, this was a special menu.
