Hartz Chicken Buffet - Wharton

The food has a wonderful homemade flavor, but the uncleanliness of the dining area and restroom (not to mention what the kitchen must look like) is incredibly off-putting. The presence of too many flies is also a concern. The lack of cleanliness will ensure that this is my first and last visit.

I went through Wharton and decided to stop and order through the drive thru. That was Thursday afternoon. The young man who took our mission was very kind. I ordered a few things they didn't have on that day, but he was polite and apologetic. He did his best to find other items in the menu to replace them. That was great. Waiting was not long given our great order and the food was so damn delicious, I mean, the chicken was crispy, juicy and the sides were amazing. I recommend this restaurant, great customer service and delicious food.

The best homework I had in one minute with the most cheesy macaroni, sweet carrots, spicy cabbage (at least for me) and crispy chicken!!! In any case, this place makes one of my frequent stops. I bought the buffet and tried a bit of everything and LOVED IT ALL! The area was clean and the staff was friendly in a relaxed atmosphere. Very recommended?

You absolutely have to try this place! I love the Guissards – they're clean, delicate, and crispy. The fried chicken is fantastic! I've tried other options, but this one is definitely my favorite. I'm so glad I have one close to home. Keep up the amazing work in the kitchen!

The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the light, fluffy rolls paired wonderfully with the creamy mashed potatoes and coleslaw—they were all amazing. I’d rank the chicken as the eighth best I've ever had, and coming from the South, I know my fried chicken! The rolls were the kind you just can't resist. I'm giving this place a solid 5 stars. The service was quick and friendly, too!
