Thai House Express 2 - Whanganui

We don't have a lot of nice Asian restaurants in Whanganui and this would be the best in town, the atmosphere is comfortable and food are delicious they do have a very wide range of food for you to select. The owner is very nice and helpful, if you are thinking of birthday dinner or gathering, this place is the best place in town.

My brother and I had an amazing night (June 2023 and really enjoyed our meals. Thank you for the amazing service and great atmosphere. If I resend my review it’s due to google always removing my reviews for no good reason : We had the entree for 2, sweet sour chicken and red curry. Fantastic!

On Tuesday 20th June 2023, I visited this restaurant to pick up a takeaway dinner. The place was becoming busier, so I inquired about ordering the Lamb Shank Meal to take home. Due to a large order that had come in, it was going to take about 40 minutes to prepare. This was no problem, and the woman serving me took my phone number to call me when it was ready. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. They called me around the 35-minute mark, so I returned to pick up my order. The food was amazing – the lamb shanks were tender and the meat fell off the bone. The gravy was delicious and the rice on the side was perfect. The flavors were fantastic! There was actually enough food for two meals. I highly recommend this place and I would happily go back. Well done!

I am happy to see this restaurant open again. It has always been one of my favorite places to eat. The food is delicious, the location is great, and the atmosphere is fantastic. They also offer great banquet set menus.
