Absolutely fantastic fish and chips, the $10 pack with fish, chips and a hot dog was amazing value! Best chips we have found in Whanganui! The batter on the fish and hot dog was perfection, can't wait to go back! Also the service was next level friendly! 10/10

Staff here are always friendly helpful with making sure you get what you're hungry for or fitting the most in to your budget. Of course the busiest times, on a popular Wednesday Thursday night might see a longer wait period, but order ahead then ring ring The prices are great for all family budgets sizes. Never had a problem with our order the food has always been amazing fresh smelly good to eat, with a wide variety of cold drinks to select from as well. The building is clean with plenty of room to sit and wait for your order.. My 9yo son has a love for their chicken burger, double cheese burger his number 1 favourite , special fried rice with sweet n sour pork pieces. Grateful for the wide selection to choose from even the cheapest battered fish is delicious perfect in size. *Traffic can get hectic on that busy road between 4:45pm-6:15pm so please be safe! Parking can be found further along the streets towards the Pharmacy 4 Square or the opposite direction along past the front of the store, or across the road then take the pedistrian crossing.

Always hot and ready to go. Reasonable price as well.

New Fastfood Takeaway has been my local go to fish and chip shop for a few years now and I have always had great service and even better fish and chips. I have never had any issues with quality and it has stayed consistent over the years. Always my number 1 choice and recommendation to others
