Sushi Village - Westwood

Loved it. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.

The food is very good and we had sushi and hot food but the service leaves a lot to be desired. We were a group of 7 and it is clear groups greater than 5 will be charged 18% gratuity automatically. I do not know if this was just a coincidence, but everything we asked for was a wait... to place the order, for water, napkins, the check. Like I said the food is good but service should hold the same level of standard.

We went to this all you can eat Sushi place on the advice of my son. Appetizers which also are all you can eat, were tasty and the best of our dinner. Fair choice of sushi rolls, but the quality was sub par. Lots of rice on the rolls, so if you like rice this is your hangout. I got a yellow tail and scallions roll. The yellow tail was just edible with tons of rice. Rainbow roll without salmon was not worth eating. If you want quality this is not the place, in my opinion. If you want quantity at a decent price point this may be for you

I might have visited on a Monday, but I found the food to be lacking in flavor. The service was excellent, and the restaurant was clean with a pleasant atmosphere, but the dishes were somewhat bland. I tried the tempura noodle soup, which was quite tasteless, and the sushi rice was a bit dry. The portion sizes were generous, which is a plus, but the lack of flavor was disappointing. I hope they can improve in the future.

I've never experienced such a strong reaction after a single meal in my life. The quantity of food we ordered could have fed a small village in Liberia, and it all processed incredibly quickly. The ordeal I faced in the restroom about ten minutes after devouring 18 crunchy eel rolls was nothing short of intense; I can only imagine it was akin to the struggles of war. The discomfort that followed was overwhelming—comparable to witnessing a tragic loss or even the pain of watching the Yankees win the World Series. Despite that, the food was fantastic! A solid 10/10.
